Basically in search.xhtml i search on Vendor Name 'xyz' and in next resulsts.xhtml page i get 2 results with say 3 columns

Vendor Name            vendor address            vendor city
xyz                                  123 main st                Minneapolis
xyz                                   123 Broad St              Boston

I want to validate Vendor Name in the first column is coming 'xyz' itself not some other incorrect value. How do I validate that using selenium regression script. Is there is a assert for that. How do i add command for this validation.

please advise
Any links resources ideas highly appreciated. Thanks in advance

I know I sound like a broken record, but using Webdriver API will give you all this ability, to "assert" anything you want. There isn't much point getting this going with your recorded scripts, as you will need to move away from that to Webdriver for the reasons given in your other questions.
