Virtual XP Mode - Remote Procedure Call fail

I have a customer who is running an XP VM in XP Mode on Windows 7 and the Virtual Machine will not load. It throws an error for the Remote  Procedure Call. Restarting the service did no good. Uninstalling recent Windows updates did not help. Removing the Virtual PC feature in Windows and reinstalling it did no good. Any other ideas?

We tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that didn't work. Customer decided to move the non-conforming 32 bit software to a different machine.
