Wordpress Integration

HI ,
I am looking for a way to integrate wordpress with my existing website,
The current website is not easy to export as wordpress theme ,
I also wrote the PHP code that can get the posts and insert in the page (like other pages of my website) , but people can not post or comment on that ,

Any help is really appreciated.

I sugggest, install wordpress on a test site. Upload the data from your site to the wordpress database

there are also plugins which can do it for you, to an extent

As far as the theme, you will need to recreate it, or get a new one

In my experience, if you really want to integrate wordpress into an existing site that has no CMS, it is best to do a fresh install of wordpress and skin the theme yourself.

In most cases you can take the css and javascript from your existing site and work it into the default wordpress theme.  After doing so, you can import your information for the pages through a plugin or copy\paste depending on the content.

Well, I am still looking for a patch, if exists
patch? for what?

how is your site running now?
does it have accounts? users? posts? comments?

you can't be so vague if you want direct answers

are you looking to transfer the entire thing to WP?
or just the data, or the look?

if its data, you can use the import tool i listed above to import into wordpress

if you want the look of it, that you will need to do on your own, either by making a new template, or editing the existing ones. or you can find some new ones on websites like themeforest.com
HI ,
The site is pure HTML , there is no user, no data .
Simple site built with HTML/ CSS ,
Now I installed wordpress and want to have blog on the site , but the interface of the site is different from the login page of wordpress .
I wrote a simple PHP code that can insert the post on the format like my website, but was wondering if there is more I can do .

One way is making the WP theme like mines, but two issues, first, it is not easy , second, because of the format if my website, they will still look different

So again I am looking for a solution to can incorrprate the WP admin to my site.

Thanks
I see what you are saying.
Unfortunately there is no quick fix

there are several solutions but i only thought of two.

1. create a wordpress site as your main site
   a) copy all articles to wordpress by hand or via import tool
   b) for aesthetics, you will need to alter the themes on wordpress to make it look as you wish

2. incorporate wordpress to your website
   a) install wordpress into a folder
   b) on your website, add a dynamic section which pulls RSS from your wrdpress site
(you can create multiple rss feeds by topic/author/date whatever)
   c) in your menus link to wordpress site

both ways are tricky, and second is more inconvenient, but those are your choices

how many pages do you have?
Hi,
My site has around 50 Pages,

Any recommendation on Softwares that automatically crawl you site and put it on WP ?
(if there is any)
you can continue looking for an easy way out but there are none unfortunately.

I used to work at a web company, copying 50 pages would take about an hour. im sure you used a lot more time looking for a solution. save yourself the headache

if you want to pay for a scraping software, the best thing i can suggest is hire someone for a day to copy everything
Hi,
Sorry for late response, what out for a trip
Anyway, what do you suggest as the best importing software to import HTML to WP
