Labelling software which supports barcodes and specifiying label to start printing on

I am looking for free or inexpensive software which would supports printing barcodes.  It also needs to allow me to specify which label in the sheet to start the print on.  This is so if on my first print if I only use 3 of the 8 labels on the sheet I can start the next print where I left off so I don't lose labels.

We have MS Office 2007 but I couldn't find this functionality in Word etc.

You only need a barcode font. You can then use it in virtually any application.
