Installing application in windows 7 using Oracle Form 6i

Hii...I've created application in Oracle Form 6i, and database Oracle 9i in windows XP. But now my client saying he want to use this application in windows 7.
For that if i install Oracle XE 10g as database and Oracle Form 6i with patch (for windows 7) will it be ok...??
Can anyone give me helpful suggestion please..

Hello,

As it may work (I know of applications running Oracle Forms 6i with client/server-mode on Windows 7), please try to avoid this configuration, as it is not supported by Oracle. I can tell from experience that this is not a stable configuration and that it needs some tricks (especially for 64bit-Windows) to get this to work.
