NERO Video Screen Issue

I just installed NERO Platinum 2014 on my Windows 7 computer.  I've been using NERO Vision (now called NERO Video) for many years.  When I installed the new version, the screen in NERO Video was cut off (see image below/attached).  Nothing I could do with my monitor adjustment helped ... the screen is actually cut off (not just running past the edge of the screen).  No other programs on my computer have a problem.  Any ideas?

Thanks,

Phil

What happens if you maximize the window by clicking the middle button:

The image I sent with the question was maximized.  When I reduce the window size and move it around the bottom is still cut off.

joewinograd,

Ooops.  I see why you asked the question.  The image I sent was actually NOT maximized, but when I maximize it the bottom is still cut off.  Sorry.

What is your screen resolution? The horizontal looks fine in the screenshot, but maybe your vertical resolution doesn't meet the minimum requirements of the package. I don't have NERO Platinum 2014, so can't help you by experimentation on my end, which I'd be happy to do if I had it. Maybe I can steer you in the right direction with some general ideas, but let's hope experts who own the package jump in. Regards, Joe

Well, you solved the problem.  Mostly.  When I change my resolution from the widescreen 1600 x 900 to the standard format 1440 x 1050 the NERO screen shows correctly.  I don't know why this is so, since when I checked another computer with a widescreen 1600 x 900 resolution the same version of NERO Video works perfectly.  If you have other ideas, I would love to hear them, but in the meantime at least you've made it so I work with the program.

Thanks,

Phil

Phil,
I wasn't surprised when you said that it worked at 1440x1050 (I've seen other programs that require a minimum of 1024 vertically to work properly), but was very surprised when you said that it worked fine on another 1600x900 computer. I can't make sense of that, unless there are some screen size options/settings in Nero 2014 that are set differently on the two computers. Regards, Joe
