Hyper-v network adapter appearing as unknown device

Dear experts im having a pretty  bad situation.
my setup is the following
Virtualization host WIndows server 2012, and the Virtual machine is windows server 2008 R2

out of no where this windows 2008 R2 VM stopped responding when i reached it from the console i noticed wiered errors in the network card. i restarted this machine and then the network card started to appear as an unknown device. i treid removing uninstalling it nothing works.
any assistance here will be appriciated the situation is really bad.

There are TWO network adapters your VM can have.  Network Adpater and Legacy Network Adapter.

Windows should have the drivers for "Legacy Network Adapter" but "Legacy Network Adapter is provided by the Integration services.  They should be included in 2008 R2 but they will be NEWER with 2012, so you should install/reinstall them.

the Guest machiene is windows server 2008 R2 and the driver seem to work but there is no network connection at all. inspite of my putting a static adress its showing everything as auto configuration and its even getting one of those wied ip adresses.
