Italian Language Pack

We configure all our Windows 7 PCs to point to an internal WSUS server to get MS updates.

One user needs to install the Italian language pack on his PC.  Is it possible to just download and install without going through the internal WSUS?  Since this is a single user request, I try not to add additional on our WSUS.

Please advise.

Thanks.

I tried that.  The Italian link does not give me a way to download.  It just provides instructions to download from the MS website instead of from my WSUS server.

Also, for some reason, I do not see anything about Italian Language pack for Windows 7 being displayed on my WSUS server even I select the Windows 7 language pack in the product download list.

Please see the below:

To download language packs for Windows 7

1.
Click the Start button Picture of the Start button, and then, in the search box, type Windows Update.

2.
In the list of results, click Windows Update.

3.
Click Check online for updates from Microsoft Update, and then wait while Windows looks for the latest updates for your computer.

4.
If any updates are found, click Optional updates are available.

5.
Under Windows 7 Language Packs, select only the language pack that you want (installing all of them might take up too much space on your drive).

6.
Click OK, and then click Install updates. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. You might have to restart your computer too.

Is that foreign web site safe to use/download?

in windows update, you can select the link "check online for updates from Microsoft Update" and it should appear in optional updates if you have enterprise or ultimate

It doesn't look like "windowsupdate.com" is a Microsoft site.

Just in case you don't run ultimate/enterprise: the comment "just remember language packs are only available for enterprise and ultimate editions" is not really correct. What is possible and legal with any edition is to switch the system's language to a different one. What is not possible with non-enterprise is to run different languages for each user.
To switch it would need the dism command or the froggie-tool vistalizator.
