Problem installing MYSQL connector

Can someone help me I am trying to install  MYSQL -connector-net-6.3.3, I receive the attached error.
I am running Windows 7 Pro 64bit on my laptop.

What are you trying to install it for?  That package is for including in programs written in the .NET languages like VB.NET and C#.NET.  Do you have Visual Studio on your system?

http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/net/

For other programs, the ODBC connector would be more useful: http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/odbc/

Thanks my problem was that the dotnet framework 4 had to be re-installed.

I re-installed the dotnet framework and the installation of the connector worked fine
