Hello,

I am trying to renew our certificate on exchange server. I followed the instructions from Godday support and they send me the certificate in zip folder. They used the existing old CSR.

I created our own CSR and tried to complete pending certificate but gives the error message

Error:
Cannot import certificate. A certificate with the thumbprint D1FCE208CD2D2E6E98C37D252FE41977CFC2B9D7 already exists.

Exchange Management Shell command attempted:
Import-ExchangeCertificate -Server ‘SERVER02' -FileData ‘<Binary Data>’

Any help please ? Thanks in advance

the article says you should complete the request in IIS manager.

You should not use EMS/EMC to complete the request, use them for assigning to services.

have you followed renewal process similar to below post ?
http://www.digicert.com/ssl-certificate-renewal-exchange-2010.htm

In case of Go Daddy, You may have noticed, that following the normal Renewal process doesn’t work , because Exchange 2010 will generate a CSR that does not work with the GoDaddy Renewal process
So, it is simpler to just create a new Certificate Request

You can follow process mentioned in below article to renew GoDaddy certificates
