I don't know the magic words and I don't have a Samsung, but I did find some info, and saw you no response yet.

Here is an article that is a little old but may possibly still be accurate.

About halfway through the article he discusses the calendar.  The excerpt is here.
screen grab of part of article discussing calendar.
I know someone who has the Samsung Galaxy and absolutely loves it and wouldn't do without it.  His voice recognition seems to work pretty good.

Does anyone else have more up-to-date information on this?

You might try some searches here on experts about this.  Some experts also post their email addresses if you go to their profile.  After entering your search look down right margin under related solutions and you will find more info on Galaxy answers.

One interesting answer follows about trying to use outlook calendar when phone is looking for Google calendar by design.

My Samsung's voice recognition is working fine.  I just don't know how to say the magic words for a correct calendar entry apparently.

And also, just yesterday, Samsung installed a new OS on these SIII's, so it might have changed.  ..... Need to test again. Stand by.  Thank you, Mark88

Had some free time to contact Samsung today.  They told me after several minutes of investigating, that it is currently not possible to use S Voice to make one calendar entry that begins one day and ends on another.

Sad.  Thanks for checking.  Who would've thought?

Yes, and you're quite welcome.  Had the chance to stir the subject around with the techs and requested they submit a request to fix it in the future.  They said they would.  Then automated survey gave me a paragraph to request it also. Maybe in the future.

Thanks for the points!!
