Open source application inventory database with LDAP integration

I am looking for an open source application that can catolog applications that staff have access to and has an LDAP integration with active directory based on user name or email.

The problem:
I need to be able to provide a list semi-annually for all web based applications that staff have access to.  This does not mean for the software already installed on a user's PC but would be an inventory database where an inventory can be maintained for particular web based applications and all the staff that have access to this application.

This database would then would have an ldap intergration to active directory so a list could be produced that would include all of the web based software stored in the yet undiscovered inventory database.

Does anyone have a recommendation of an open source solution that could accomplish this?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I was thinking that either there is a proxy as the middle tier to all the web apps else there is need for web agent in each web server so that the OSS can query. But this is better achieve under a identity mgmt application which is normally the unification of the identity access for the whole of Enterprise or Organisation staff.

Nonetheless, I was thinking of a web to ldap gateway agent but probably need to state the ldap query to get the appl and account for correlation. below are some candidates
(see "Features")
(see "Who needs FD" and "Basic operation of FD")

Thinking out of the box, web analytic can be something worth exploring

Are these your web based applications?

It may be easier to start with spiceworks which will give you active directory integration and just add whatever cusom fields you need to track web access. Or there are already inventory groups built in and each inventory item can be in multiple groups with auto rules. E.g.everyone in an OU auto assigned to a group

I have posted the option for the web based interface to ldap which can be possibly tried out. Pls consider it instead of deletion of question.

The information I am trying to capture includes not only from active directory but also from web based applications that staff have access to, such as Basecamp, Sharefile, Box, etc.  The intent is to be able to produce a report that can pull from these web based applications to provide a complete picture regarding all access that is tied to a specific user.

Why not just use azure AD premium to actually control the access to the other sites?

Thanks for the suggestion. I was able to get the information required by using a PowerShell script. This allowed for the export of the required fields in a CSV file which met our needs.
