Not sure if anyone can answer this but I was wondering if there's any websites you'd recommend for uploading my custom app built out of Visual Studio Express.

Depending on your target platform you may use Windows app Store: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/apps#Cat=t1
(Instructions for developers are at the bottom of the page)

Or check the Windows Store directly: http://www.windowsstore.com/

You may also decide about some ShareWare store, e.g. http://www.payproglobal.com/

Or you may offer your product (or some restricted version) at Codeplex: http://www.codeplex.com/

BTW, to be focussed just on Microsoft platforms is not good option today.
