Windows updates failing with code 80244019 on windows 7 with WSUS 6

Recently have some workstations that are having problem to download the updates from the WSUS on 2012 server. So far 3 different workstations with different sets of the updates that's need to be installed. I have tried to delete distribution folder on the workstation but its detect exactly same updates that aren't downloading. When manually click to install the updatesget the error code 80244019.
When try to detect updates from Microsoft update site it didn't bring them up and system seems to be up to date.

Hmm, typed out this great answer with links...then got an error an reset back to your question losing all the stuff I typed...arghh, too lazy to redo it.

I did Google the error( "80244019" ) and a lot of possible solutions came up.

One answer by Lawrence Garvin caught my attention:
Run wsusutil reset on your WSUS server and wait for all download activity to complete.
If the downloads are failing, review the Application Event Log for specific errors (all of which are also discussed at least once in this forum in the past three months).

Awesome that did the trick. For some reason when the WSUS has been migrated the path was setup to C drive instead of the D where I copied the content.
