In a lab environment, I get an error in a new installation of Windows 2012 Hyper-v.<br />
When I go into virtual switch manager, I get &quot;An error occurred while trying to retrieve a list of virtual switches.&quot; The operation on local computer failed.<br />

I'm wondering if this is because my windows 2012 which has a hyper-v host is running as a vm on top of VMWare esxi 5 (because I don't have many pc's to experiment with)? &nbsp; Or is there something else I could try?<br />
