SQL 2008R2 and 2012 SSMS:  Is the Intellisense customizable?

Every time I type ... the Intellisense ends up writing ...

   as           ASCII
   date       DATEADD
   id            IDENTITY

Kind of annoying.

.. looking ... Hmm, was hoping for more choices.    

I'll have to look at Red Gate SQL Prompt, or any other third party tool.

Haven't heard anything, so that must be the answer.
I'm also going to download SQL Prompt and give it a trial run.
