Google Apps / Android - "Contacts" list includes all sorts of strange categories

I work with CompanyX a lot. The support desk at CompanyX is in my Google Apps contact list. CompanyX also sends me many emails with a crazy email address appearing under the hyperlinks. Here's an example:

cases.906252.2327907_3904438_273709.f91e6fcd4e@companyx.com

These emails aren't a problem until I do a search in my Android for a CompanyX. Instead of getting a single hit, I get 30 or 40, one for each of the crazy email addresses like the one shown above.

Is it possible to configure my Android (or my Google Apps account) to look only in Google Apps Contacts for contacts?

1.  Is it Google Apps Directory (Domain) or My Contacts (Personal)?
2.  How are you performing the search?

The Google Apps / My Contacts hint enabled me to configure it properly. Thanks!
