Word Definition Software

I am trying to find some software that I can load on computers that will define any word I highlight.  Example. I am reading an article on the web and I highlight it and it will show me the definition of that word.  I was told that some schools use this but I can find out what the software is and who makes it.

I use the WordWeb free version:
