Using Vsphere VCLI in windows
I have download Vsphere VCLi for windows. when I opened up the command prompt of Vcli, then went to bin directory, run DIR, all I can see is the .pl files.
I want to use VCLi commands but it does not seem that I can use them in windows with .pl files which are I guess Perl scripts.
Any idea?
Thanks

for Instance, if I want to use:
Vicfg-dns
Vicfg-nics
Vicfg-ntp
in Vsphere VCLI they are all under bin directory and they are .pl files
I thought Vicfg commands are commands that you can run on ESXi hosts after connecting through SSH, just like ESXTOP

I found out that Vicfg is used by 2 different tools:
there is Vicfg used in vMA appliance, this one is used as Linux commands.
there is Vicfg used by Vspher VCLi , this one uses .pl extension
