remove "Leave Reply"

I have been attempting to remove the "leave Reply" "post Comment" from my site. I have unckecked all related boxes in the Discussion area, went to my single.php and blocked the <?php commnets Template ()> with /*.....*/, but they still appear

Hi, the blocking of the comments link might be something you need to do on other files as well ( e.g page.php), the theme you are using might be using different files for the posts ...

So it depends on the theme you're using and how it is structured.

The WordPress plug-in disabled the "comment" section.  Disabling the plug-in is also possible
