Hello expertsexchange,

I was wondering if there is any way to upgrade vmfs 5.54 to 5.60. I am aware of the vmfs3 to vmfs5 migration path is there any option to upgrade to the latest version if you are already running on vmfs5.54.

Best Regards

Different versions of VMFS-5 are created by different versions of ESXi 5.x.

5.0 - 5.54
5.1 - 5.58
5.5 - 5.60

You would need to re-create the datastore, using a different version, or later version of ESXi 5.x. Not really an upgrade.

these are the differences
