CISCO PACKET TRACER QUESTION

After watching several YouTube Cisco Packet Tracer videos, I have to ask how to create a layout using the CPT then have it "post" all the necessary command line code necessary to configure a router or any other device that requires knowledge of the CLI language?

Surely someone has developed an application where all you do is drag icons around, connect the wires, select options from drop down menus, then have it post the code or even better yet somehow upload the configuration to a device?

Bottom line -- hoping to configure Cisco devices with a Microsoft Visio or Cisco Packet Tracer graphical environment.

In PT, you can drag devices, connect them, also configure them in CLI to simulate them. Its given to Cisco Network Academy subscribers only, and there are many labs available in CNA to practice. You can build your own configurations here.

In real devices, you can configure graphically, or CLI. Cisco also have many tools to configure the devices, like cisco configuration professional CCP, Secure Device Manager SDM, ASDM, which directly connects to the device graphically and generated required cli codes and applies them to the device.
