I have a Amazon Web Services Ec2 instance that contains a Wordpress website (from a Bitnami stack AMI)

I need to recreate the entire instance exactly as is. Basically clone it.

Is there an easy way to do it? And is there any downside to creating several?

They are on the free tier and I need to stay that way initially.

Thx so much!

That should be possible yes, you can create an image of your existing EC2 instance, when the image is ready you can deploy a new instance from that image it will contain your data as well ... But if you change the base instance, the changes will not be reflected on the image, you'll need to take a new image.

You can create as much instances as you want, the free tier is only for the first year if I'm not mistaking though ... And if you go beyond what is included in the free tier you will need to pay for it. (more info here: http://aws.amazon.com/en/free/), you might also need to pay for the image, not sure about that.
