html5 watchposition inconsistent result

Hi,

I want to track my vehicles as well as I want to calculate odometer using web browser which supports html5, I am using watchposition() then I found following results

I am having following devices
Device 1 : Samsung gt p5113
Device 2 : HTC 1 mini

to get internet I used hotspot for Samsung gt p5113 as there is no SIM facility available with this tablet and WIFI is not available at my place.

Then I found following result

HTC 1 mini : gives accurate result for odometer when I traveled 25 miles
Samsung gt p5113 : there was always inaccuracy in odometer reading

I would appreciate if any one can suggest other way for achieving same goal or reason for above inaccuracy.

Are you using the exact same service for Cell, internet connection and gps? I think sometimes the service guesses your location.

Thanks a lot Scott Fell,

Now I facing one more issue, When I am driving my browser shows good GPS reading for
Latitude, Longitude Timestamp and Speed.

but when I stop Speed does not becomes zero even.

Can any one please suggest me the reason behind it, because I want to show important message like "Vehicle in Motion You cannot operate tablet while driving" based on this speed parameter,
