Hi Experts,

We have one issue here on Exchange 2010. Users have reported they could no longer could see the Appointments in the Shared Calender in Public Folder, we checked and found that they were right.
Then today they reported that now all the Shared Contacts from the Public Folders are gone too.

So we need to know what is happening, is someone deleting it?  How do we check is someone is deleting them?
Secondly how to recover them, we do have backups of the DB with us.

Thanks,

Hi,

Check with the folks who are all having access to that particular public folder.

before restoring them from backup, check out in the dumpster.

Update
==================
We were able to recover all the deleted item through "Recover deleted items" option of Outlook. So we have all the Shared Contacts and Shared Calender back.

Now we need to know who deleted them and from where (IP address).
All we know is that it was deleted on 01/04/2014.
