how to get attendance of several kids faster - VB6

I have a vb6 form.  The following are entries for logging the one student at a time:

Name - Dropdown List populated from DB table
Hours - Enter value
Date - Enter value
Activity - Dropdown List populated from DB table

It can get tedious to do 200 kids sometimes with several days in the month to log.  Is there a faster way to see all the students and enter the hours/date/activity for each student?

Well there are control arrays where you could list all 200, but I don't see where that would help.  You could have it start with student 1 (non selectable), and when they hit enter on the last option or choose it they go to the next student or have a next prev button.
As for the date once when they start if all are the same and default that box to the date given.  If all activities are the same for given entries at a time, ask what the activity was and default to that each time to save the user time. Do the same for the hours.
