Can no longer RDP to desktop, service not starting?

I have a user who once a week needs to RDP to her machine from home.  She goes about this through citrix.  However now she can no longer access the computer, and I can't RDP to it from any machine on our network.  I get the "Can't connect to this machine" notice when I try.  I notice that the "Remote Desktop Services" service isn't started, and when I start it, it works fine.  However when I log off it shuts the service down and I start getting the "can't connect" error again.  I go start it manually, and the connection works.  Why wouldn't this service start when I initiate the RDP session?  I've tried setting the service to automatic start but that doesn't seem to help.

Looking at the application log I found that rdpcorekmts.dll was throwing an error every time a RDP session was trying to start.  So after googling this I found this arctile on the technet forums.  After I re-installed the kb2667402 update RDP started working like normal again.
This is the best money I have ever spent. I cannot not tell you how many times these folks have saved my bacon. I learn so much from the contributors.
