Picasa MPG no sound

I have a .MPG video file. When I run it in Windows Media Player, it has sound. When I run it in Picasa, I lose the sound. I'm pretty sure the solution would have something to do with codecs. If downloading codecs is the solution, I need to know exactly what to download (the last time I tried on my own, a lot of garbage came along with the codecs).

My system: Windows Vista Service Pack 2. My apple Quicktime and Picasa is the latest out there.

I am attaching the MPG file. However, I had to change the extension to get it to upload.

To give you a little more and explain why it doesnt have sound,
Gspot reports it is a DVD vob renamed extension to mpg and is using tjhe ac3 as suggested above in the forums.

Keep Gspot for the future and test your video on it
Once you drop a problem video on go down to proposed codecs and solutions, click on VID 1 then Vid 2 and Vid 3 then you can actually play it in Gspot
Gspot Vid 1So I tested it in my Picasa 3  on my new windows 7 x64 and also did not have sound so took it over here to my other windows 7 x32  which has the k-lite codec pack installed which includes the ac3 and the sound works
