With a Gmail account, you will be able to sync your Microsoft Outlook email contacts with your Android phone with ease. Here is how you do it.

1. The first thing you must do is choose and install synchronization software for your computer. One of the better ones for syncing with Android is gContactSync. Download it and then install the software to your computer.

2. Launch the synchronization software from your computer.

3. Once you have launched the software, you will be asked for your Gmail username and password. Below, you will also choose whether you want your Google contacts to overwrite your Outlook contacts or vice versa. No matter which one you choose, the contacts will be shared in both directions. All you have to do is click “OK” and the synchronization process will begin.

4. Once you have completed that, your Google and Outlook contacts have been synched, and it’s time to go to your phone. Open the application launcher on your Android phone and scroll to “Settings” and then tap the icon to open your settings. Scroll down to “Accounts and Sync” and select that as well.

5. Now select “AutoSync” in order to sync all of your contacts onto your phone automatically. If “AutoSync” is not available, this means that you have not selected the “Background Data” option.

6. In order to apply the settings, just press “Back” to exit the menu. This begins the process automatically, syncing your Google contacts to your phone, which have previously been synched with your Outlook contacts.
