Sonos Playbar Cuts Off Songs

My Sonos bar continuously drops songs playing on my Sonos Playbar, usually right in the middle of the song and sometimes I'm not even at my computer when it happens.

I've researched the Sonos official support forums and the agents don't post their results or assistance with the customers asking for help publicly.  I did notice though that a user posted the same issue, an agent said "Send a diagnostic report", and the user replied stating that they did and they hadn't heard a response.

I've already rebooted, re-installed Sonos software, have tested the app on Windows Mac OS X Mavericks, iOS and Android and no other user in the area is attempting to control my music.

Hi
Havent used this player but from what I read the very fact it is wireless may explain it.
You must losing connection at some point.
Are you streaming or using a service?
One idea> Night Mode?
>>The Playbar also has a few tricks up its sleeve such as night mode options which smooth out the volume and boost the dialogue,

The music is still cutting out but technically all music played through the Sonos is streamed.  It's completely random too and the moment it happens, I still have internet access.

Please give me a picture
Where is it connected?
What is streaming?
And from what source.
Radio stations could have cut off so you can't rely on them. This could be done to pevent copy.
If it's you own
It could be that the original music is not of a high standard and is being resampled to Dolby Digital to 7.1 DTS-HD may explain the silent bits if your source radio station.
Or music that is not supported.
DTS-HD Master Audio
DTS-HD Master Audio is a lossless audio codec created by Digital Theater System. It was previously known as DTS++. It is an extension of DTS which, when played back on devices which do not support the Master Audio or High Resolution extension, degrades to a "core" track which is lossy.
Which Sonos do you have, could you post a screenshot or link?

According to thread I posted above>
Without DTS support, the Playbar is relying on your television or Blu-ray player to extract the 2-ch PCM stream from DTS.
The Playbar will then upscale this into surround sound.
Audiophiles will shudder at this point,

It could be cutting out because of vibrations or it has a problem.
Do you have a console showing the track playing and does it show playing hen there is no sound?

Since this is a digital forum to assist you we need your details as we can't see the hardware per say like when you bring it into a shop.
They have hands on.
We don't own every possible device in the market either so our prognoses is usually based on a core understanding or reading manuals and the details you provide.

Was that a pun?
Thanks for the feedback appreciate it but you could have deleted this question.
I did state in my first comment that it must losing the signal.
I was correct.
For anyone else who has the problem

I read through that Qand A and didnt see that as the reason alone,
The messages I see regarding the playback errors relate to Sonos trying to access the shared folder on the computer, but being unable to complete the connection.
another is to make sure that the BRIDGE is not sitting too close to other nearby wireless devices like your DECT phone base station or your router.
and the final one
When the play bar is hooked to a cable box via optical directly (not out from the TV as the TV optical out is only 2.0 not surround).
However it seems the play bar gets a signal every once a while from the cable box and tunes to the TV (had the play bar set to automatically detect TV).
Once auto detect of tv in playbar settings is removed... all is good.  Maybe a common issue for others and something to add to your trouble shooting.
