I am using standard subscription for running the report and schedule a Mail Delivery with SSRS 2008 .

On Specified scheduled time report executed properly but problem while sending the E-mail .

Report Subscriptions throws following Error on Report Manager .

"Failure sending mail: The message could not be sent to the SMTP server. The transport error code was 0x80040217. The server response was not available"
( Please  find attached screenshot)

Do i need to make changes in rsreportserver.config file related to Mail Server Settings?

Thanks & Regards

Check if you got the right configuration on your SSRS Email Settings: Sender Address/Current Delivery Method and SMTP Server.

The other thing is to check is your Administrator has a relay on the Exchange Server for this IP/Email to let that delivery emails without user name/passwords.
