PacketFence guest management

Hi Experts,

I am having trouble with PacketFence guest self-registration.

From their admin guide, it says by browsing https://hostname/signup, it should take me to a self registration portal assuming guest registration is enabled.

But the above link just timed-out when I tried to access it with management IP. Am I missing anything?

Thanks,

Jimmy

try using https://<hostname>/signup:1433

or maybe the dns. try to ping the hostname ip and also try replace the hostname with ip in the http link to see if can access. I browse briefly on the admin link below. There is sample config and access mgmt portal via port 1433..e.g. administration interface is available at:
https://<hostname>:1443/

http://www.packetfence.org/downloads/PacketFence/doc/PacketFence_Administration_Guide-3.5.0.pdf

In /usr/local/pf/conf/pf.conf, anyone not allowing self registered guests will have to set
guests_self_registration=disabled under [registration].
