Cisco VOIP Script configuration

Hi,

I need to modify a script and add an option for when it is a statutory holiday to play our closed message even though a user is logged on.

What happened is that we had a few persons call in during a holiday and they got no closed message. I would like to prevent this for next time.

I have checked the script and can add or modify weekdays and weekends and time of day but did not find a way to add statutory holidays.

Can this be done? if so how.

Well,

     On most systems (all the ones I actively support) there is no "automatic" way to do this.  I have an annual calendar reminder to check the systems I support and an set the appropriate dates based on the list below each year..    

If you really want it automatic I would look at something like the google calendar API but I think that's more work than it's worth for this application.

Memorial day - Last Monday - May  Monday 25/31
Independance day - July 4th -

Columbus day - 2nd Monday in October  MOnday 8/14
Veterans day - Nov 11th - Nov 11th
Thanksgiving - 4th Thursday Nov.
Xmas - Dec 25th --
