Please view attached screenshot. Number "1" shows web servers that have Jboss or Tomcat loaded on them. I grouped these servers together.

Number "2" on the screenshot shows what I have set for exclusions for all servers in that particular group. As you can see, I excluded directories that pertains to backup on most of the servers, because those files are huge. I just want to know if I am setting exclusions properly.

I have this server group set up for autoscan. So is what I have configured telling OfficeScan console that, anything I listed in the exclusion list, to exclude that particular directory from any one of the servers in the group? Or, do I need to set exclusion on the client itself? If I do need to set exclusions on the client itself, how can that be accomplished, as I do not see an option? Please ask me questions if I am not being clear here. Thank you.

For Configuring exclusions in Worry-Free Business Security (WFBS) File, Folder, and File Type Scanning, please see this

Database and encrypted type files should generally be excluded from scanning to avoid performance and functionality issues. Suggest you see this link in specific server that recommend the file to exclude

Are there any videos online that will show me how to set exclusions properly?

Dont think there is specific video for this. I do see they have video for titanium suite instead (probably because it is more for home office and user).

You may even raise the support case if necessary.

This scan exclusion is described in pg 6-29. You can find it in html below too.

Another based on their online help but I also dont see any screen capture flow. Maybe best to leverage what is available to try to run through. In the online html page, you can try typing "exclusion" in the search field (top right) and you be shown a list of options at the left bar. Click the "Scan Exclusions" and browse as needed.
