I'm pondering whether to get Note 1 or 2 or 3: I don't need
too many fancy features other than to be able to

a) read/edit MS Word, Excel, Ppt & Pdf files
b) play movies in youtube, gooddrama.net & drama.net (which requires Flash)
c) read emails & sync with my laptop's Outlook
d) browse Internet & use Whatsapp

(I need the big screen as my finger tends to miss with
screens smaller than 5" & I can't see small text clearly
 due to long-sightedness)

Q1:
Saw a youtube video showing Note 2's stylus is more sensitive than
Note 3's stylus.  Is this a stylus issue or rather the screen technology's
issue?   Does Note 1 have this issue?

Q2:
I read another link that Note 3 requires the stylus to be pressed
harder to get a response, is this true?

Q3:
Is the tip of Note 2 or 3's stylus finer?

Q4:
I read that Note 2's battery lasts longer than Note 3 as Note 3 has
higher resolution screen & more power-consuming processors.
By how many minutes longer does Note 2's battery lasts (assuming
both batteries are brand new)?

Q5:
Does Note 2 has obviously better audio volume/clarity than Note 3?
(I read somewhere it does).  What about Note 2 compared to Note 1?

Q6:
On my kid's iPhone 5 & iPad 3, the movies at gooddrama.net & drama.net
is rather laggy/choppy.  Anyone tried if Note 1 or Note 2 is good when
playing videos from those 2 sites?  Using my old Lenovo X61 (32 bit on
Win XP), those 2 sites' movies are good.

Q7:
I heard from a few people that Galaxy S3 (& a couple of Android phones)
tend to hand & will need power cycle (remove battery & reinsert) to
clear while iPhones don't have this issue.  Does this symptom manifest
often on Note 1, Note 2 or Note 3?

Q8:
Does Note 1, Note 2 or Note 3 has an app that could talk to Apple's
Facetime?  I have a few long-distance relatives whom I need to
communicate with regularly but they are on Apple products.

Q1:  I find my Note3 to be more responsive than my Note2, but, the accuracy of the stylus is definitely lower.

Q2: I've noticed a little bit of difference, but nothing I wasn't used to in minutes.

Q3: My Note3 stylus tip is finer, and harder.

Q4: Both the Note2 and Note3 do not last a day for me, but I'm a heavy user. I do think that my Note2 lasts an hour or two longer, but then again it's a lot slower.

Q5: I do feel my Note2 has better sound than my Note3. On the Note3 it's rather "tinny", but again, for normal use, it's no issue.

Q6: I've only streamed from YouTube and I have to say that depends on the quality of signal. Playing videos of the memory card is perfect though. (Note2 and 3)

Q7: This is a general Android issue. I have this on my Notes, LG phones, Sony phones and it's all related to poor quality apps. Good quality applications do not exhibit this behaviour.

Q8: Unfortunately, not yet.  Best you can do is Skype etc.
