Limit Profile Space Exclude AppData\Local

We have the GPO "Limit Profile Size" enabled under "User Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\User Profiles".

We have recently moved to outlook and now we have a problem that it is seeing the OST in AppData\Local and putting the user over their limit.

Is there a way to exlude a folder from this size limit? I thought it would only limit the roaming profile. :(

I would suggest to test by excluding the Local folder from the Roaming profile (Specifically Outlook folder). This one will mostly be storing OST which does not need to be backed up as its cached or copy of Mail Server.

You can do this by using the setting 'Exclude directories in roaming profile' at same location where you are using limit profile size setting.

I would suggest to test this one first on one or two machine.

Appears to work with the "Exclude directories in roaming profile" not sure how as it is local instead of roaming folder. But thanks for the advice.
