SBS 2011 w3wp.exe running over 1GB memory

Hi there, we have a SBS 2011 server that keeps freezing. It either comes back on or we cant wait and have to reboot it manually which is not perfect. Once it comes back it shows the winlogon service has stopped but I am sure this is due to no resources available. The only thing that looks od is the w3wp.exe running at 1.4GB

Any ideas?

W3wp is a IIS worker process which indicates that webservice is a busy bee.

What are the specs from this domain controller? Especially memory....

Thanks for the reply. Its a Xeon 2.4 with 16GB memory and has been running perfectly for months as it doesn't do a lot other than exchange and file store
Hi

That should be enough memory for a not to complicated mail server.
What is there to learn from the events log and from DCDIAG ?
This the only issue it shows

Hi

It says test failed for system log meaning there is an error found in the system log, can you check if it is recent?
What kind of disk subsystem?  Have you started task manager and have that running when the system 'locksup'  should be viewing processor usages and have it sorted high to low and then when it freezes see what process is using the CPU the most %
One terminal service error for the printer Xerox as named in the DCDIAG screenshot
what av for exchange /server could be corrupt av causing hang need to see what is hogging cpu
