size quotas for redirected folders

What is the best way for setting quotas on users redirected folders in SBS 2003?  I need to set a 1GB limit for regular employees, and 5GB limit on redirected folders of managers. There are over 50 users, so some sort of group management would be required.

Thanks.

You can use the FSCT (file server capacity planning tool) to help with your sizing quotes for your redirected folders.

Microsoft FSCT Downlaod - http://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/download/details.aspx?id=27284

I would also recommend getting a 3rd party program like "TreeSize Viwer" which can also help you with trending on your file servers and how often files are accessed and other helpfeul information.

Treesize Viewer - http://treesize.en.softonic.com/?ab=5

I am looking for how to set maximum size restriction on all redirected folders.

I already have treesize and can see users who are taking up space.  Server 2003 is being phased out in the near future, but until that happens I need to lock down the max size of users redirected folders.

When you add File Services Role on your 2003 server you can use File Server Resource Manager to accomplish disk/directory quotes and file screens if needed. See below link...

File Server Resource Manager - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc758451(v=ws.10).aspx
