I will be teaching some basic computer classes with various Microsoft applications. I need a solution that will allow me to use some kind of thin client so at least 6 users can use their own computer & have their own monitor, keyboard, & mouse. Can someone recomend some kind of technology that will alow me to install some software or hardware on a laptop & somehow allow another user to have their own session so each user can use a computer. For instance, If I teach an Excel class, with 6 users, all 6 users would need to be able to point click & use Excel as I teach....any suggestions? 6 users at a time would be the minimum with no more than 15 or 20 students at a time. The main laptop will have Windows 7 installed on it. Thanks

Hi,

iTalk is a nice and free client teacher solution. But i am not sure what you mean by thin client solution so they can use their own computer.

It sounds like you need a terminal server where the thin clients connect to and on the terminal server you could install iTalk amongst all other applications.

But! terminal server is a windows server product which won't run on a windows 7 laptop.
