Remove HDCP from Cable Box HDMI Output

My goal is to get a great picture with my Panasonic P65ZT60, but the picture from the cable box is so compressed the signal I end up getting still sucks even after processed by the DVDO iScan Duo.  Will the configuration below allow me to remove HDCP from the signal going to the Duo from the cable box?

Motorola DCX3400M>HDMI Cable>Dr HDMI>HDMI Cable>DVDO iScan Duo (with HDCP turned off for that input)

Dr HDMI is a product made by HDFury that is supposed to remove the HDCP coding allow for a more pure digital signal.  Does anyone have experience with Dr HDMI and what has your results been?

I don't need the Dr HDMI to make the picture better - my DVDO iScan Duo can do that.  I need for the Dr HDMI to remove HDCP to let the Duo accomplish the picture upgrade.  Does anyone have experience with upgrading picture quality after HDCP is removed?
