Page in IE 10 needs to be refreshed

Got a situation in at least 2 websites: user goes to the site (it s an HTTPS site), logs in OK, then click on a link and the link yeilds a blank page. Only after refreshing the page 1 to 3 times, data appears.
Then, click on another link, and same issue.
I've already tried the following:

1) install the latest Flash
2) Install the latest Java
3) tried the site using Chrome: it asks for IE 5, 6, or 7 (?!)
4) Select Tools >> Internet Options.
    Click the Settings button in Browsing History.
    Select the Every time I visit the webpage radio button.
    Click OK to close the Settings dialog.
    Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog.
5) clean temp files in IE

If "it asks for IE 5, 6, or 7 (?!)", I think it's probably Not your problem.  If it is that far out of date, there is no telling what else is wrong with it.
