Hi Experts,

I ordered a code sign certificate from Comodo. After signing my app, I went to open the digital signature of the file to view its detail, I found my address information is fully displayed in the field ‘Subject’.
I checked a few of other apps that I download, found they don’t display in full detail about the address of the certificate owner. There is one app, which certificate issued by the same issuer as mine, got his/her address fully showed as well.

I would like to know why ? Is it depended on who issue the certificate or other reasons ?

Thanks

No, it does not depend on the issuer. It depends on what information you entered when creating the CSR.

One thing to note, I believe comodo had issues such that their CA certificate were deemed untrustworthy

Not sure whether that was rectified and is a non-issue.
