asked on Changing icon and functionality for access 2010 ade on taskbar
I have an access program installed (ade) with access runtime and can set up a desktop shortcut to run this with a custom icon.
However when I drag this onto the taskbar in windows 7 & 8 it sets it up with the access icon and so that you need to right click on the icon and select the file to run.
Is there a way I can set it up so there is a custom icon on the task bar that starts the ade directly i.e. just click it with no right click options.

Thanks for link. Got it to work fine but found easier to copy existing shortcut for non office exe and change rather than use wizard.
