SSR 2.13 fails to backup to WD ext. USB HD on SBS 2011 gives VSS error
Hi Folks,
We are running a recently installed SBS 2011 Std. on a HP ML350G8 SATA server.
32 GB RAM, 1 x 1TB SATA RAID 1, 1 x 2TB SATA RAID 5 Array
Main Daily Ext Backup is 1 WD 3TB Playbook 3.5"
Removable
2 x WD Passport Ultra 2TB 2.5"
SSR fails to any of 3 ext drives with error:
Error EC8F17B7: Cannot create recovery points for job: Test backup to the F drive 512.
Error E4F3000E: Snapshot failure while using Volume Shadow Copy Service. Please check application event log for VSS errors. Error code: EndCreateSnapshotSet (-2147212529). (UMI:V-281-3215-6071)
