Device to accelerate a ringtone for landline phone

Odd ball question.  What are those devices call to increase a phone ringtone for the regular land-line phone?  When my parents are working in the yard they don't hear when I call and no they don't have a habit carrying cell phones in the pocket :-)  I know weird!
Please advice.
