CX500 Error - 2580 What Does It Mean?

We aren't sure what the following error means.  The databases on the system stayed up.  Can anyone give me some insight?

"Time Stamp 01/14/14 21:15:06 Event Number 2580
Severity Error Host CX500SPB
Storage Array APM00052409621 SP N/A Device N/A
Description Storage Array Faulted Bus 0 Enclosure 0 : Cabling information differs between SPs; may indicate disconnected cabinets."

Thanks

Have you made any changes to the array recently?

The error message is telling you that there's been a change to how the disk cabinets have been cables. It's possible that the error has been caused by a failed LCC in a disk array enclosure or possibly a bad cable but you should also see other errors that would confirm this. I would expect an amber fault light on the array and an F indicator on the failed component in Navisphere.

Bottom line is that you should investigate the error. Can you post screen shots from Navisphere showing the DAEs please? A photo of the rear of the CX500 wpuld be helpful as well.

Sorry for the delay in replying back.

No changes were made. Interestingly, within 30 seconds after this error, there is another entry in the even log saying that the Storage array is not faulty.

No F indicator in Navisphere for any component.

Not sure why it gave that error just once. The storage has been up an operational for last approx. 5 years, only occasional disk fail or SPS battery replacement error so far.
