Hi experts,

I'm trying to enable shared mailbox from Exchange 2013 on WP8. I know it does work but I'm having troubles setting it up using IMAP4.

Officially MS doesn't support it but I know I had it setup once but reset the device and can't get it working again.

Thanks.

OK, I was able to work it out. The user that has the full rights to access it, has to use shared mailbox email and username in a form domain\username/sharedmailboxname

This is working now on my Lumia 920.

If anyone needs bit more description, let me know.

Hi JurajUQU,

I need help in this. As i understand your comments,
first we have to provide full mailbox permission to one user on a shared mailbox. for example John has full mailbox access on testshared mailbox.
after that on  mobile,

user has to enter the email address of shared mailbox and user id and password of his own account.
like John has to enter his user id and password with email address of testshared.

Am i correct here,.
