Which outputs higher quality audio/video for the Mac Mini?
With the newest Mac Mini (late 2012),which cord will allow the Mac Mini to provide a greater quality output of audio and video signal, mini-display port or HDMI? I've seen the comparison charts online but is there any real significant difference?
Thanks for the links as I thought I was the only one confused with the display port. I meant to say though do you get a better resolution and/or speed from the thunderbolt (instead of mini-display) or hdmi port from the Mac Mini? If so, how much better is one than the other?

Just ensure your hdmi cord is gold plated that ensures the very best quality.
What type of TV?
Between the Mini-Display port (thunderbolt related) and the hdmi should produced great results so long as the quality video is good as well
It depends on what sockets you have currently.
If you wanted sound with as well use gold plated mono to rca stereo cable so you'd hook the mono end in to your headphones jack and the other end to your TV audio input. Youtube could give you some great insights and results https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfsnZVZlEq0
Thank you and all the best
