hi,

I recently got a gift of a Fujitsu scanner  fi 6130. it was not being used by a friend.
I installed Scan Pro all 1.8
the scanner is function just fine.

Is it possible to scan an image with out using a computer interface, like a " one touch button " from the scanner itself.
my brother and Dell both have this feature. with a touch of a button, the Scanner would scan to a common folder.
I can not seem to figure out if this too has this feature..
any help appreciated.

Here's how to do it with ScandAll Pro. First, download the fi-6130 Operator's Guide from the Fujitsu website:
http://www.fujitsu.com/downloads/IMAGE/manual/p3pc-2162-02enz2.pdf

Look at Section 3.15, "Scanning by Pressing the Scan Button on the Scanner", beginning on page 110. It has very good, step-by-step instructions with screenshots.

In case you have any problem with the download, I've extracted that 3-page section for you and attached it to this post. Regards, Joe
