window.universal_variable.test = {
	value_1: "MI1849",
	value_2: "GBP",
	value_3: 777.52,
	value_4: [
		{
		value_4_1: {
			value_4_1_1: "13456",
			value_4_1_1: "78978",
			value_4_1_1: "98765465",
			value_4_1_1: "22"
			},
		value_4_2: 1,
		value_4_3: 769.82
		}
	],
	value_5: ""
};

Open in new window

I would like to use javascript to access the value of value_4_1_1. How can I do this?
I can successfully target value_4 for example by targeting window.universal_variable.test.value_4

Thanks

Mmmmm... try
window.universal_variable.test.value_4[0].value_4_1_1
as you defined value_4 to be an array

Hope that helps.

Sorry, I failed. I think it should be:
window.universal_variable.test.value_4[0].value_4_1.value_4_1_1
